CLARK Material Handling Company announced the appointment of Scott Johnson to vice president of business development, effective immediately. In this position Scott will continue to direct all Dealer Services, Dealer Development and Government Sales activities as well as develop and coordinate new business opportunities in North America to ensure Clark’s continued market share and profit growth. An employee of CLARK since 1995, Johnson formerly served as the company’s Eastern regional sales manager, aftermarket sales and marketing manager, director of marketing and director of dealer services. Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Kentucky. He has been instrumental in CLARK’s appointment of a number of new, strong distributors to its dealer network in North America and in strengthening the bond between CLARK dealers and CLARK. Johnson is an active member of the statistics committee of the Industrial Truck Association (ITA) and also represents the company in the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA).
